CanDO at the Horseshoe aMTB camp

An amazing weekend of adaptive riding with the Handcycling Club of Canada hosted at Horseshoe Bike Park and Copeland Forest Trails, near Barrie Ontario.

CanDO Society brought our Program bike, a certified aMTB Coach (Chelsea) and peer mentor coach (Brie) down to the HCC's Fall aMTB Weekend. The camp was a huge success, the turnout and collective impact was so exciting to see and we look forward to the continued development of adaptive mountain biking in Ontario.

This weekend we had:

  • 40+ volunteers

  • 24 Adaptive riders

  • 17 Adaptive Bikes

  • 8 riders with family members present

  • 5 different models of aMTB to demo

  • 2 volunteer mechanics
